Servo, DS630BLHV (DS630BLHV)

5.00 stars, based on 16 reviews
Bottom line? This is one bad ass servo we're making here. Period. Unbreakable? No, we'll never say that because we're not stupid. However, it's a very tough to beat servo in the +600oz-in class because beyond the best materials and design, we nail...

Monstruosity of a servo.!

Excuse my poor English: this is pure art and engineering inside and outside of a servo! Installed 4 of these DS630BLHV within my Futura 2.5M turbine. My suggestion to people considering these servos: don't waste time and money buying servo from another brand. The ProModeler is the one!

Not my first DS630, not my last!

I have been nothing, but impressed with my ProModeler servos. Besides the speed and power the construction is top notch. Coupled with an external BEC the DS630BLHV throws my TRX4 Sport’s heavily brassed out front end around like its weightless. This isn’t my first ProModeler servo and it definitely won’t be the last!

Pay up the extra money and get it!

The DS630BLHV is the only servo you will need ever for an X-MAXX . . . just pay up the extra money and get it.

There is no such thing as too much power.

Pros:
  • American made
  • Quality craftmanship
  • Superb specs
  • Fantastic response time
  • pure power
Cons:
  • Too much awsome.
This servo can toss around my weighted TRX-4 like a rag doll, it is glorious!!! I could not be happier with this purchase. It made a huge difference in performance and I can literally crawl up rock just using my steering. I now have 2 of these servos with plans to order more. The fit and finish of the servo is superb. American made craftsmanship at its finest! ProModeler is my go-to servo from now on.

Very quiet and doesn't squeal

The servo is top notch and way more heavy duty then my Savox 2290SG in my Slash. What I like the most is very quiet and doesn't squeal. I'm running this servo in my X-MAXX and recommend it.

Zero high pitched squealing!

Pros:
  • Center great and super quiet!
Cons:
  • Wish I'd purchased these first.

The most important thing to me is centering and with these servos it's rock solid. Also, before replacing the servos in my 105" SkyWing Edge 540 (NorthwestRC) I would go to do a pop top and it was slow. Now, after replacing the servos with ProModeler brushless servos (DS630BLHV on rudder and DS470BLHV everywhere else), when I do a pop top the model snaps around very fast!

Also, like a lot of guys with these 120cc models, I run two servos on aileron and these ProModeler servos are easy to balance (so they're not fighting each other). I'm just using the balancing capabilities of the radio instead of an amp-meter or balancing box and these servos are really quiet. They have absolutely no buzzing. This is a relief compared to other brand servos that squeal and whine and drive me crazy. Don't you hate that? Anyway, better radios do the balancing for you and I'm glad these servos are very quiet.

After flying them a while, I'm still glad I bought them. This is why I recommend you also get these for your model.
