A clear winner among the rest!

Pros:
  • Super quality
  • Finely finished
  • Great phone support
  • Smooth performance
  • Great centering
Cons:
So I had finally settled down and decided to build my own electric 3d machine, as opposed to buying used machines . . . a little background info, I've been flying helicopters for close to 30 years and advancing continually. I have my own style of flying that is heavily reliant on the rudder, some flights consist of constant pirouette manuevers, tick tocks, flips, loops, etc. while pirouette during the entire pack. Not smack flying necessarily but I gravitate there occasionally.

Being heavily into pirouette work, I need cyclic servos that deliver power in a very defined manner . . . that is they need to possess the ability to give me fine minute adjustments with authority. As well as large precise inputs to cover the occasional corrections, which culminate into manuevers that look like no correction was made. Or just precice large cyclic manuevers. These are powerful servos that can tackle large cyclic inputs with no stall, but the silky feeling back at the sticks is something I've only felt with the ProModeler servos. Then there's the build quality, they look like they were built with a specific purpose, and there's the great summary on the care that went into making these. Don't get me started on price comparisons of the competition because, there is no competition. These servos have power, precision, excellent build quality and price point, and a live significant person you can easily reach out to concerning these servos if you have questions.

When I was searching for servos for this build I was overwhelmed by how many servo manufacturers were out there . . . I noticed many of them had catchy graphics on them, like here buy me I look cool. Yeah, but what's inside? They don't show you and dn you're expensive, also how's the support? I'm sure many of those servos are great performers, but they easily lose out on the price point, and thusly, all the other attributes mentioned earlier concerning ProModeler servos.

ProModeler make the best servos thanks!

Another Four DS345BLHVs..

Pros:
  • Wonderful servos
Cons:
  • None!!
Just wanted to say, I just bought another four of these servos, and every time I get some I just have to marvel at the fit and finish on them. I have machine tools in my shop and I would be in pure 'hog heaven' if I could get that kind of finish on my machined parts. But of course, they are also great servos period!!

I purchased one of the earlier models a couple years back (brushless 345oz). It has been used in my son's Wraith and has been perfect! The quality of these servos are fantastic. I just picked up my 2nd servo from Pro-Modeler (470oz brushless) and it's working flawlessly so far. The quality on these speak for themselves at a reduced cost of the brand I used to buy. Love em.

Excellent Servo

Pros:

I have 3 of these on the swash of a 700 Electric helicopter. They centered well during setup, so that was good. I've been flying them all summer, and I have been impressed. The electrical draw on these are surprisingly low, and the price/performance is spectacular. Not to mention the support is unequaled.

Fantastic Servos!

I put five DS345BLHV in my Skywing 74” Edge 540 v2 and wow! The response is fantastic with no blow back and the centering was spot on. Putting out this much torque in this size of aircraft may be a little overkill, but paying a little extra for a premium servo is well worth it to me. Will definitely be putting in ProModeler servos in all my future projects.

Freakin’ Awesome!

I love these servos so much! They are super powerful and very quiet. The centering is precision. Everything about these servos just screams quality. The only bad thing is now I have to order a bunch more Because I’m spoiled now. Thanks a lot John

When I talked to John on the phone about this servo he did not put down the Futaba I was thing about buying his statement to me was simple, "Theirs are good, but ours are better" so I ordered 2 of these for a Kyosho Inferno GT 3 kit' and I am glad I did. These servos just scream quality as soon as you touch them. The other side of this coin is that John is such a great help for picking out the right product to purchase with no bull attached. Thank you!

Put these in a Vibe 50 I rebuilt and what a difference! Running them on a straight 2s LiPo. Fast, strong and really quiet. No buzzing around neutral. I've only got a couple gallons on them so far but no signs of wear or slop. I'll be using more of these for sure.

I can say that I have been most pleased

Pros:
Cons:
I have purchased - at a guess - 40 or more ProModeler servos. Basically, all the different models offered at some point or another. I can say that I have been most pleased with the performance of all them. For me, I gauge what I spend my money on in the RC market in two ways, quality of the product and the quality of the service. They do this very well on both fronts. I'm just a sport flyer but I try to buy the best that my money can afford me, and these servos fit the bill.
