This sweet running 26cc miniature gasser makes 2.4 horsepower whilst running on 32:1 premix. Rated up to 9000 RPM, best power comes when you load it down between 7800-8500 RPM using a 16x8 through 18x6 two-blade prop. This will provide plenty of power for a variety of models. Supplied with a back-plate mount, it's simply perfect for model airplanes like a 105" wingspan Sig J-3 Piper Cub, an 82" wingspan PT-19, or a giant scale Sportster. Also included are a muffler, four spool-type spacer mounts, plus an Allen wrench.

Note, we're occasionally asked regarding spare parts. Here's the rub, the engines are made and sold direct from China, thus limiting our ability to profit and while our products are hobby products, our business isn't a hobby. Thus, we don't see the point in buying spares, so for those who wonder, we're very sorry but it is what it is. Fortunately, this is a solid little engine and it's very reliable so unless you crash onto a concrete parking lot you're probably not going to need parts anyway!

Note; each engine is test-run at the factory so the needle valves are preset for you!

Manufactured with a die-cast crankcase, which has been specifically engineered for modeling, the industrial-type piston and cylinder assembly delivers a long service life. In fact, expect to take up to 20-hours for a complete break-in! After that, your engine will deliver many, many seasons of pleasure and enjoyment. Moreover, when mounted on a scale model like a 105" Sig Piper J-3 Cub on floats, or WWII primary trainer like a 84" wingspan Fairchild PT-19, or even a sport acrobat with a 68" wingspan, you may expect brisk performance.

    - Expect brisk performance whether mounted to a 68" wingspan aerobatic model, or 100" Cub on floats!

A compact performer, below are the critical dimensions, which you'll need to account for when laying out the installation of the engine for your model. Moreover, while the ignition module is 100% encased in metal for maximum protection fomr RF interference, if you use a typical box-type mount forward of the firewall, (like the one shown above) you'll also have where to mount the ignition system and battery.

    - When planning for the installation, take these dimensions into account and you'll be very close indeed.

A very simple engine in design and construction, the secret to the success of the CRRCpro GF26I engine is the genius of combining model-engine specific components like the die-cast crankcase along with economical and durable industrial type piston/cylinder assemblies. Along with a well proven Walbro carburator for easy tuning, the resulting engine is a world beater in compact gasser performance.

    - This exploded view diagram details the various parts, with part numbers, which make up the GF26I engine.

Included accessories are the ignition module, four each of the blue anodized CNC-aluminum spool-style mounts complete with Allen head bolts, washers, and blind nuts (for spacing it off the firewall), as well as a fiber-reinforced engineering-polymer velocity stack for optimal airflow, plus a T-handled Allen wrench long enough to reach past the engine to the mounting bolts. It's attention to detail - like including the Allen wrench - which have served to make CRRCpro a leader in small gasoline engine market. Meanwhile, modelers have discovered the engines deliver no-apologies performance, which is essential to become successful in the market.

Once you lift the foam accessory tray out of the box, this is the view that you've been waiting for, your first glimpse of the GF26I engine and muffler. Very well packed in custom-molded foam cradles, your engine has been securely and safely protected from shipping damage. This is what you're waiting to see!

    - Securely packed in custom molded foam cradles, this is what awaits when you open your box!

Easy to cowl, when fully enclosed the ample cooling fins ensure the engine doesn't overheat. Just remember to calculate about 1.5X the cooling inlet area for the area required for the hot air exhausting the from around the model and you'll be in good shape.

    - Remember to allow 1.5X the cooling inlet area for exhausting the hot air from the cowl for success.

As received, the beautiful 4-color box contains the CRRCpro GF26I, and it's all securely packed for delivery.

    - What awaits as you unpack the shipping box is this beautiful 4-color packing box.

The lightweight ignition module is metal encased for 100% protection from RF interference. Weighing a mere 107 grams, this strudy module just needs the attachment of your 4.8V NiCd or NiMH 4-cell battery pack. A 1000mAh unit will be plenty.

    - Weighing just 107 grams, the metal enclosed ignition module is well protected from crash damage.

Coming in at only 61 grams, the aluminum muffler has been bead blasted to provide an easy to clean finish, which will remain attactive for years to come. Note the double welded tube btween the body and the thick mounting flange, which prevents crushing when being tightened. Moreover, it's supplied with an exhaust gasket as well for sealing.
